High Red – 2800K
The High Light “High Red” board is an excellent stand-alone flowering light that can also boost existing HID grow lamps (especially CMH) with bigger yields and faster finishing times.
With it’s combination of top bin CRI98 “Optisolis” and highly efficient CRI90 757 series Nichia LEDs, the High Red board features extra Red (600-650nm), Deep Red (650-700nm) and Far Red (700+nm) light compared to typical Samsung LM301B CRI80 LED boards.
These boards have a very high colour rendering index of CRI95, which means they show plants in a “truer” light than other grow lights, making it easier to spot nutrient deficiencies and other issues.
With a heavy red spectrum for increased flowering performance, these LED grow lights emit a warm white light in the 2700-2800K colour temperature range with a board efficiency of 2.46 umol/j at 1.5A.
High Red boards have significant amounts of Far Red light (5%) compared to other LED boards, and really come into their own during fruiting and flowering, with accelerated flowering times for the same or bigger yield.
The large footprint gives a very even spread of light and excellent heat management, allowing each board to be run at 135-150W without a heatsink, or 225W with a matching heatsink (note: original High Light heatsinks are out of stock, but we can provide High Light 420 heatsinks that are larger and can be drilled to suit).
The 2:1 ratio means boards can be mounted side-by-side to form a perfect square, or end-to-end for vertical lighting systems – see How Many Boards?

High Light boards must not be driven higher than 225W each when used with a matching heatsink, or 135-150W each without a heatsink. If you plan to use a driver that can exceed this wattage you must dim it.
