Hang these lights individually to cover a wall grow or pair them in a tent or square grow space (save another 10% if you buy both).

Better coverage, sun-like spectrum and the flexibility to adapt to almost any grow style compared to typical LED bar lights.

The advantage of pairing these lights is that each Longboard can be hung at different heights, tilted to increase light intensity and reduce wall losses, and spaced at intervals to optimise canopy coverage no matter what your plants are doing.

PAR mapping has shown that two Longboards hung side-by-side not only provide an even canopy, they can be widely adjusted to provide true “3D” coverage (see below).

This is the flexibility Longboards are renowned for, and just one of the secrets to why they outperform other LED grow lights.

3D Canopy
Plants are three-dimensional, meaning canopy penetration is just as important as even coverage. Longboards deliver better light penetration because they can be hung at different heights to illuminate shorter and taller plants at the same time. They can also be tilted up to 5 degrees (or more) towards the middle of the canopy to reduce wall losses and provide better side-lighting.

Longboards not only provide the most flexible hanging options, they have one of the best plant spectra on the market. Designed and manufactured by Grow Lights Australia and LED Teknik, these quality fixtures have enhanced UVA and Far Red light that have been proven in grow rooms and greenhouses around the world to produce outstanding quality with faster fruiting and flowering times.

Colour Temperature
These Gen2 lights have a CCT of 3100K and high CRI95, making them very close to natural sunlight. We have found ~3000K to be the best alround spectrum for general growth, fruiting and flowering of most species, including ornamentals, shade plants and tropical varieties.

Deep Red and Far Red light are the keys to rapid growth as they enhance the Emerson Effect and produce larger leaves that absorb more light. They also accelerate the fruiting and flowering cycle. The addition of UVA promotes essential oils and prevents excessive stretch – meaning these lights are perfect for all stages of growth.

These lights are very close to the Gen3 models and still among the best LED grow lights anywhere in the world, covering the entire PAR+ spectrum from 390-780nm at over 3.00 umol/j LED efficiency (up to 2.7 umol/j system efficiency).
